NY HERO Act Effective Date to be Delayed Until July 5
The recently-passed New York HERO Act was scheduled to take effect today, June 4th. However, the Department of Labor has not yet released model safety plans for businesses to follow, and we have learned that the legislature plans to pass an amendment extending the effective date to July 5th.
