NYSDFS Says Auto Carriers Must Refund SSL Premium When Insured Rejects

​Insurers writing auto insurance coverage in New York must refund premiums to insureds who have rejected Supplemental Spousal Liability Insurance coverage, the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) said Monday.
