URGENT: Add Sexual Harassment Hotline Info To Your Employee Handbooks
New York businesses are required to inform their employees about a new sexual harassment hotline, under a law that took effect in July. We urge all of you to add this information to your employee handbooks as soon as possible.The law, which became effective on July 14, required the state Division of Human Rights to set up "a toll free confidential hotline to provide individuals with complaints of workplace sexual harassment counsel and assistance."
