​On Tuesday, August 10th, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation as the state's 56th governor, effective August 24th. Kathy Hochul, the current Lieutenant Governor, will succeed him for the remainder of the term, becoming the state's first female governor. A New Way to Lead

​Recently I was thinking back on a lesson I learned from my Junior Varsity basketball coach (many years ago!):  it dawned on me what he was doing and how it applies to what I am working on today for Big I NY. A quick story: we had 13 kids on our roster; like any team we had a strong, regular starting five and then three or four of us who would come off the bench and play significant minutes.
